Mechanical Completion Ceremony of Ethiopia KESEM Sugar Factory Project Successfully Held.

On November 30th, 2014, the mechanical completion ceremony of KESEM sugar factory project, which is undertook by COMPLANT (Ltd) in EP+C contract, was held in KESEM project site. COMLANT (Ltd) Chief Engineer Liu Deyong, Sugar Corporation Deputy Director General Abebe Tesfaye, KESEM sugar factory site manager Kaba, China Development Bank representatives as well as representatives from Chinese companies, about 200 people attended the completion ceremony.

Deputy Director General Abebe Tesfaye expressed his congratulation and gratitude to project completion in his speech, especially COMPLANT (Ltd)'s efforts to overcome the difficulties in such a tight schedule. As well, the cooperation on KESEM sugar factory project plays a significant role in sugar industry and other area of China and Ethiopia.

COMPLANT (Ltd) Chief Engineer Liu Deyong expressed that mechanical completion of the project is a very important milestone, the project will enter into equipment testing and commissioning after mechanical completion. It is expected that COMPLANT (Ltd) will keep close cooperation with all parties, and efficiently schedule commissioning work in order to produce sugar as soon as possible to make our employer and fund raiser satisfied.
